Product Description
Our lead discovery compound has activity against the 26S proteasome, one of the beneficial effects of blocking the proteasome is to inhibit the transcription factor nuclear factor kappa beta (NFkB), which is a potent mediator of inflammation. NFkB has already been shown to be a major, if not the major mediator of skin diseases including Rosacea, Psoriasis, and Acne. In these conditions, inflammation, excess blood vessels, and the enzymes that digest elastic fibers in the skin, are mediated by NFkB.
